Sorry if I seem a bit less enthusiastic than I usually do in these videos, was quite sick when I recorded this and really wasn't in the mood to play the game.

With update Danger Zone, Gaijin added the Australian M1A1 AIM to the American tech tree as a squadron vehicle. This means that any player, regardless of level, can buy their way into top tier. Not only that, but the M1A1 is one of if not the best M1 in War Thunder. Compared to the M1A2 it has a less potent round and no CITV, but I consider the AIM's superior gen 2 thermal sight to be more than a fair tradeoff. I think it's the only American MBT to have something besides gen 1 thermals, except for maybe the M60 AMBT.
