The Better Bennington Corporation is the official non-profit Designated Downtown Organization for the Town of Bennington, providing access to grants, technical assistance, and networking opportunities. Our programming is funded by grants, donations and a special assessment tax on downtown properties in the Downtown Improvement District.

Bennington's recognized Vermont Downtown Program. We partner with the municipality and multiple community agencies to complete community projects, promote the arts and cultural assets in town, and host many events and activities. Our offices are located in the Old Blacksmith Shop on the corner of South and Elm Streets. Our building also houses the Downtown Welcome Center.

Our Mission
The mission of the Better Bennington Corporation is to lead and support public and private efforts that enhance downtown as the vital commercial and cultural heart of the community.
