This unit includes a mounted 3 stage 1-1/2" stroke 4" Bore pneumatic cylinder which can yield a punching pressure of 2700 lbs. of force at 100psi. Can be run at pressures up to 130psi and yield in excess of 1 ½ tons of pressure. This custom tool is comprised of a 4 post pneumatic press attached to a twin post die set. The die set includes a mounted punch and die section with a length gage bar for setting lengths. Activation occurs manually via a foot operated valve (safety guards not in place for demonstration purposes). All controls are "air logic" and comprised of one four way power valve, one four way pilot valve, one pneumatic adjustable timer. Parts are automatically clamped and then cut to length. Clamping occurs automatically just before the punching stroke via the delay timer. Unit is mounted to a custom stand and includes full perimeter safety guarding. This unit is Custom produced for a particular requirement. This unit is also capable of being produced in larger or smaller sizes and can cut paper, plastics, light metals and just about anything that needs cutting to length.
