This video is for class 4, class 5 class 6 class 7 class 8 and above.As we know that square in geometry four sides are equal and area of square is side* side.but we are taking about square of algebra. in algebra square means when a number multiply by itself or power 2.and square root of a number is that number which when multiplied by itself gives a as the product . square root represents as Root.now till that we learned introduction of square and square roots.Now we are going to do properties of square and square roots.First of all we will talk about properties of unit square.Any number which we have given find to unit square. we have to see last digit of number then we have to do one place number of square.And we will got square of number . so which number we get after square unit place this number is unit square.
now properties of perfect square.
1.If a number can be expressed as product of two equal numbers.
2.A number ending in 2,3,47 or 8 is never a perfect square.
3.A number ending in an odd number of zeros is never a perfect square.
4. The square of an even number is even.
5.4. The square of an odd number is odd.
6.The square of a proper fraction is smaller than the fraction.
7.Sum of first n odd natural numbers=n square.
8.If m,n,pare natural numbers such that (m2+n2)=p2,then (m,n,p) is called a Pythagorean triplet.
So we can find square and square roots.
