How to Laser Engrave Bigger than Your Laser Bed - NEJE 3 Max

Got material you want to laser engrave bigger than your laser bed size? No problem, because in this video I show how to laser engrave wood using the pass-through method and an alternative alignment workaround.

Having a large work area to begin with is going to help and I'm using the NEJE 3 Max system with an engravable area of 810mm x 460mm, but in this video I print a world map on to plywood measuring 1220mm x 840mm without any modifications to the laser system. Lightburn is an excellent software to help with the laser engraving of oversized materials.

NEJE do have an extension kit which expands the physical size to 1030 x 810mm, but the pass through method can expand them further.
