I decided to take a stroll through Stockholm to see all the Christmas lights and the Christmas decorations. Come on, let's see what the capital of Sweden has to offer!

This is an unusual video for me, because I usually have a story I want to tell and I've done research on a particular topic. Well, that's not the case today. I just put on my "I'm-not-compensating-for-anything" Santa hat and went for a walk through the streets of Stockholm to see what I could find.

This Christmas journey starts in Haymarket Square (Hötorget), and continues along Drottninggatan to Sergels torg. From there I continue to Brunkebergstorg, through the mall Gallerian, past the NK (Nordiska Kompaniet) shopping centre, and onwards to Kungsträdgården. In Kungsträdgården I tell you some anecdotes about how Apple wanted to build an Apple Store there but were rejected, while I watch ice skaters fall on their asses.

The journey continues to Skeppsbron, but not before I have a look at some light exhibitions for the Nobel Light Week that happened right now. Then we walk past Parliament and the Royal Palace, to have a look at the King Gustav III statue and a pretty neat Christmas tree, before we continue to Gamla stan, Stockholm Old Town.

This is a place that some people call a tourist trap - but I like it personally. And this is where we find Stortorget, where the Stockholm Bloodbath took place in the 1500s. And this is also where we find the Old Town Christmas market, which is a fitting place to stop this walk through Stockholm. And just as a bit of icing on the cake, we're awarded with some lovely Christmas hymns at the very end as well, from a window above.

Merry Christmas to you all!
