This year, the Utah Division of Water Rights achieved major milestones through powerful partnerships across the state. Working alongside the Department of Natural Resources, Utah State University, USGS, the Great Salt Lake Commissioner's Office, Colorado River Authority, and many other state agencies and organizations, we're tackling Utah's most pressing water challenges together.

Our collaborative efforts led to opening the Utah Lake control gates to deliver critical water to the Great Salt Lake and implementing the Great Salt Lake Distribution Management Plan, both essential steps in protecting this irreplaceable ecosystem. We installed 346 measurement and telemetry devices statewide to capture real-time data across Utah. Our team processed 16,000 applications, completed 322 dam inspections, and hosted an Icelandic delegation to discuss Utah's geothermal landscape. Every achievement reflects the dedication of our team and the strength of our partnerships.
