Ink Experts Heat Press unboxing and review with a test pressing of the 30 x 23 cm swing away machine

In this video I setup the smaller version swing away heat press purchased from Ink Experts (in the UK). Join me as I setup the machine fresh out of the box, and use it to sublimate a photo onto a ceramic bauble decoration.

I share with you the end result, which I was very happy with given that this is the first time using the heat press. If you will only be pressing smaller items (A4 and under), then this is a great space and energy saving option.

It is well made, and has a good weight to it due to lots of steel used in the construction and minimal plastic. This should help with durability, reliability and even pressure distribution when the top plate is clamped down. So I am happy to recommend this heat press. My personal preference is for swing away heat presses, as it is easier for me to place objects to be pressed and the height of the top plate can be adjusted to accommodate thicker items and ensure that even pressure is applied to the item.
