Josline Smith went missing on the 19th of February after allegedly being left in the care of her mother's boyfriend.

Police Minister Bheki Cele, along with Deputy National Police Commissioner for Crime Detection, Shadrack Sibiya and Western Cape Police Commissioner, Thembisile Patekile visited the area to engage with the community members and to give them updates on the police's search for the little girl.

Widespread searches have been conducted across Saldanha, involving community members and law enforcement agencies over the past week.
