I had a pretty solid race, I started in 7th and had a good launch that put me into 5th place into the first corner. I made a few mistakes in the first lap, going over the rumble strips exiting the bus stop. But I was able to catch up to 4th place and make a pass at the beginning of the next lap. Then in the next lap I tried to make some space between me and the rider behind me but i ended up running wide in the last turn and going over the other side of the rumble strips which took a lot of time off of my lap and I was passed on the back straight. I then tried to stay with the rider in front of me but made too many mistakes so I decided to settle for 5th. My brother Cody, then passed me on the second last lap and I thought I would get 6th but then I was able to stay with him and stick a pass in the last lap and salvage 5th.
