Replacing the 12V 22Ah sealed lead acid battery in the Roadmaster JNS 1800 JumpNStart, manufactured in 2004. Was having good luck re: replacements with this vendor until now. The other 12V 8Ah batteries for the other jump unit, seem to have been drop-shipped by a vendor "Top Charge". Although they read ok, I have requested replacements as the date codes are more than a year old. Thus not "Fresh" in my opinion. Sent this message to the seller:
Hi, i received my 2-pk of batteries quickly, thank you, however, there are 2 things noticed. A label called "Top Charge" with a date of 10/13. However the actual date codes on the batteries themselves are from over a year ago September of 2012. These batteries typically give 3-4 years of service life, & having 1/3 of the life gone on the shelf indicates to me these are not fresh. In contrast, my other 12V 22Ah battery from you folks reads September of 2013 which is fine. I am requesting a "fresh" pair with recent date code from the manufacturer, & a return waybill for these. Thank you again.
