Paige was perhaps the most famous negro league player and dominated the league and barnstorming events, playing with the likes of Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Bob Feller, Stan Musial and more. Despite the setbacks, Paige pitched in the MLB in his 40s and even made an appearance at the age of 59, a record that will never be broken.
