Описание к видео Walking through exhibition of contemporary Native American art at Phillips Auction House NYC

In January of 2024, Phillips Auction House on Park Avenue in New York presented its first ever selling exhibition of contemporary Native American art. "New Terrain" presented a "who's who" of contemporary Native American artists living and dead from legends Fritz Scholder, T.C. Cannon, George Morrison and Charles Loloma (among others) to the genre's most important artists working today like Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Preston Singletary, Julie Buffalohead, Cara Romero and Kent Monkman (among others).
The show was another watershed moment for the mainstreaming of contemporary Native American art. Walk with me through the galleries.
