Episode 1: Building a flow hood to save contaminated cultures

🍄‍🟫 Hello there, and welcome to my channel! I am a neophyte mycologist, trying to teach myself how to grow medicinal and gourmet mushrooms, apparently by making every mistake in the book first! After tossing a few too many contaminated grows, I decided to invest some time into building a sterile space for mycology work, particularly agar plates. This is not a how-to or training video, as I don’t know what I’m doing. 🤪 I’m learning as I go along, mostly from my failures and mistakes, but I thought I might share some of my journey into the magic (and mayhem) of cultivating mushroom medicine with the world.
