Velma Dinkley is Asian Now and NOBODY CARES.

Velma will be Asian in Mindy Kaling's adult animated Scooby Doo spinoff series for HBO Max. And she'll probably be gay, too. Despite the media WANTING drama over the race swapping of Velma Dinkley... there doesn't seem to be much. In fact, Velma was already played by an Asian actress like, 10 years ago. What's more concerning is that the Mystery Inc. gang probably won't be anywhere to be found.
