A fine vintage Breitling Navitimer reference 806 in stainless steel, crafted during circa 1970. Breitling previously collaborated with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association to produce the slide rule on their dials, and the version we have is one of its last iteration with the notched bezel. Highly visible black dial with orange accents, well-preserved lume indices and sword-shaped hands, contrasting white sub-registers and twin jet logo, and crown with Breitling logo. Difficult to find this model in such fine condition with original unpolished finish, would make an excellent addition to a vintage collection.
