Welcome to the first video in our series focused on the ‪@SolinstCanada‬ LevelSender telemetry system.

LevelSender telemetry is a simple, compact system that sends Levelogger data from the field, to your PC and smart device, via email and text message.

In this video, we will briefly go over the equipment that makes up a LevelSender telemetry system.

One LevelSender is required for each remote monitoring site.

The LevelSender uses a GSM modem for communication. LevelSender networks use dynamic IPs.

You will need to set up a cellular service plan with data usage and text messaging.

Maximum expected data usage is 100MB. Include enough text messages to cover the number of reports.

Your service provider will send you a SIM card for the GSM cellular network.

Lets go over the items that come standard with a LevelSender:

An antenna…3 AA batteries… a Support Hanger Bracket…a 2” Well Cap Assembly… a 4” Well Adaptor is optional.

You will also need some additional accessories.

LevelSender PC Software for your Home Station, which a free download at solinst.com, for programming and viewing data.

A USB Programming Cable to connect the LevelSender to the Home Station PC for initial setup.

One Reader Cable for each datalogger being connected to the LevelSender.

A Direct Read Cable or Adaptor to connect your datalogger to the Reader Cable.

A Splitter if you are connecting two dataloggers to the LevelSender.

And up to two dataloggers. You can fit a Levelogger and Barologger in the same well.
