The Larson Electronics PLM-21-RB-NAC Pneumatic Light Mast with Rotating Base provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to twenty-one feet.

This rugged telescoping pneumatic light tower mast with rotating base is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 21 feet (6.5 meters) for effective application. This light boom can be extended to 21 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 6.2 feet (1.9 meters) to bring equipment closer to the target area as well as for transport and storage and has a rotating base.

The tower is constructed of high strength, heat treated aluminum tubing for strength and durability. This tower is comprised of five 4.2` sections and includes a locking top mounting plate for easy removal of lights or cameras. The base section has an outside diameter of 6.3 inches. The four remaining sections, in ascending order, have outside diameters of 5.51", 4.65", 3.86" and 3.23". The mast is elevated using an air compressor, sold seperately. An air release valve located at the base of this pneumatic mast allows operators to lower the tower. The 16/7 AWG wiring is internally routed, meaning no loose wiring when the tower is collapsed and no exposed wiring to fray or become damaged. The PLM-21-RB-NAC includes a six-wire internal wiring harness with 12 inches extending from both ends of the tower to allow easy installation and connection.

These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via an included 12 inch square, 1/2 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four mounting bolts (3/4 inch). A 24 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast to allow operators to easily and securely attach their desired fixtures. This light tower weighs approximately 121.3 lbs, and can easily support and lift 220.5 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 12 feet long, 4 feet wide, 3 feet tall and weighs 350 lbs. Larson Electronics is a manufacturer and as such can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates.

Suggested Applications: Lighting and security camera deployment. We can also equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power, including the LEDLB-200X2E, LEDLB-160X2E or LEDLB-80x2E.
