——Chocobo the spell caster——
Commands:
Vigor (Restores half of HP. x3 Turbo Ethers to learn it)
Meteor (Magic based attack, it hits 11 times. You learn it when you get hit by Flare or some other high level attacks)
Full-Life (Revives an ally with full HP. 1 Megaelixir to learn it)
Magic Up (Filler, I needed to fill 4 command slots so Chocobo doesn’t learn Cura or Attack, 1 Mimett Greens to learn it. I had MP Absorb before this, but it became useless after I got Ragnarok accessory)

Garment Grid: Last Resort (It adds the command Hero’s Stash which makes an ally invincible for 1 ”uninterrupted” minute. Very useful against Major Numerus as he is constantly attacking, the effects of Hero’s Stash last for over 30 minutes -trust me on this, the first time I beat Numerus, the battle lasted for 1 hour-. You get this after you complete Almighty Shinra's tale and release him)

Dressphere: Mascot. (It gives you a nice boost to all stats, and it gives you Ribbon auto-ability which protects you from most of status ailments)

Accessories:
Ragnarok (It reduces the MP cost to zero. Very useful for magic caster monsters)
Key to Success (You get double of HP, MP, exp, money, items and you get +100 luck. I use it just for farming/grinding purposes)

Auto-Abilities:
Auto-Haste (The monster animations are speeded up, this does not reduce the time bar, you need x3 Speed Bracer to learn it)
Life Preserver (It protects you from Petrification/Death attacks. x3 Safety Bit or get hit by a Petrification/Death attack to learn it)
Auto-Protect (Reduces physical damage by half. x3 Shining Bracer to learn it)
Break HP Limit (Your HP can exceed 9999. 1 Enterprise to learn it)

——Machina Leader & Machina Hunter, the killing machines——

Commands:
Impale (Physical damage that ignores defense, this ability is already learnt when you capture this monster)
Vigor (Restores half of HP. x3 Turbo Ethers to learn it)
Full-Life (Revives an ally with full HP. 1 Megaelixir to learn it, it was initially a filler to avoid learning Attack, but it became useful with superbosses)
Strength Up (Filler. x1 Gysahl Greens to learn it)

Garment Grid: Peerless (It adds Critical effect to all physical attacks. You get it after you beat Aeon Cup three times)

Dressphere: Mascot. (It gives you a nice boost to all stats)

Accessories:
Iron Duke (BEST accessory on the game,: HP +100%, MP +100%, Strength +100, Magic +100, Defense +100, Magic Defense +100, Agility +10, Accuracy +100, Evasion +100, Luck +50 You get it after you beat Trema on Via Infinito floor 100th, or when you beat Farplane cup, or as a not-so-rare drop when you beat Major Numerus)
Enterprise (Your HP can exceed 9999, you get it as a common drop from Major Numerus)

Auto-Abilities:
Ailment Defense (It protects you from ALL status ailments, including Death and Eject which makes it better than that silly Ribbon)
Auto-Haste (The monster animations are speeded up, this does not reduce the time bar, you need x3 Speed Bracer to learn it)
Auto-Protect (Reduces physical damage by half. x3 Shining Bracer to learn it)
Break Damage Limit (Your attacks can exceed 9999 damage. 1 Invincible to learn it)
