-Damon and Caroline are a couple, they have a little boy together. One day, Caroline bring him at the hospital and they found something.. her child gonna die, damon just explosed as always, and for him Caroline is responsable because she don't see he was sick. So he leave with Elena, but he's not happy. Caroline build his life with Alaric who help her to be happy. But one day, Damon just want to be with her again, so he came back.
