"Vincent" was written as a tribute to Vincent van Gogh by Don MacLean after he read van Gogh's biography.

In this video I played David Qualey's arrangement of Don MacLean song "Vincent" as recorded in David's solo guitar album "3.5 hours".
This arrangement always brings me back to my high school days in late 80s when I got the album on a cassette tape and was immedialtey captivated by the arrangements,
I could not find the score of the songs and decided that I have to start learning how to transcribe by ear.
This song is my first successful attempt and after that I transcribe the other songs on those album.
