Chicago's TOUGHEST Team?! City's Best Backcourt Ace Wolf, Marcus Watson BATTLE! Morgan Park Open Gym

Chicago's Public League produces tough guards (like Derrick Rose and Patrick Beverley). As we start a new high school season, Ballislife Midwest is visiting a few open gyms to get an early look at the area's top teams and top players.
Since Nick Irvin took over as head coach, Morgan Park HS (on the city's South Side) has been a Class 3A powerhouse winning 4 of the last 7 state titles in Illinois.
Morgan Park is known for it's fast-paced style of play and it's toughness. It's also known for it's guard play and for it's TINY gym. In this open gym, all these elements are on display.
The squad is led by high major senior guards Adam Miller and Marcus Watson. Adam aka "Ace Wolf" is considered a top 30 player nationally and appears to be considering Illinois, Arizona and Arizona State as college choices.
Marcus Watson is a 4-years player for the Mustangs. He was never ranked but coming off his summer with Mac Irvin Fire on the NIKE circuit where he led the prestigious EYBL in assists, Watson recently committed to Wake Forest.
Transfer Brandon Weston (originally from NYC area) is poised to have a breakout season at Morgan Park. He sat last season after transferring from Lake Forest.
Morgan Park has some intriguing freshman including Jovante Taylor who you'll see shooting in the purple shirt.
D1 College coaches from UIC and Northwestern were in the gym when we visited Morgan Park.
As you'll see, Morgan Park is one of the toughest teams around and even open gyms can get heated when it's the best against the best!
