Tiny Minnesota river Holds TONS of Fish! (Lost count)

The Cannon River is quickly becoming one of my favorite rivers to fish in Minnesota - between the Smallmouth, Walleye, Pike, Catfish, Drum, etc. its so hard to get annoyed with a river like this! The swimbait and ned rig BOTH were absolutely wrecking it for me this day and the smallies couldn't seem to get enough of it! I've probably said it before but ill say it again - if you haven't wade fished before and you've been thinking about trying it, just DO IT! All you really need is a backpack, some old shoes, and a pair of shorts. Being able to wade up into the deeper holes is critical during the warmer months and it adds that much more fun to a day of fishing!
