Apatani Tribal Women has a shocking story behind their face tattoo and nose plug. The painful tradition was followed in the olden days to protect the Apatani women from getting kidnapped by the tribal raiders who would kidnap them and marry them forcefully. Until they got these done, they wouldn't get accepted or married in their own society. Women were made to do this once they hit puberty. More of which in the video. We went to Hong Village in Ziro Valley to find out the stories.
