I had an opportunity to attend a leadership conference last Friday. One of the sessions spoke about the soundtrack that plays in our minds constantly. We might say, “lives rent-free in our minds.” In essence, we were encouraged to eliminate “bad soundtracks.” I think when it comes to sharing our faith, we have some bad soundtracks that need to be retired and new ones that need to start playing.

Quit telling yourself you are not an evangelist, so you can’t tell anyone about your faith. Or you don’t know enough, so keep your mouth shut. Instead, let this play in the soundtrack of your mind: the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives inside of you. The Holy Spirit will give you the words to say when needed.

I want to encourage you to pray and believe, and then look for the opportunity to share what Jesus has done not only for you but what He has done for the ones you have the opportunity to talk to as well.
