Arcade 1UP MKII Deluxe Cab Modifications Showcase

Here's another video showing off my A1UP MKII Deluxe cab and Mods. If you're like me you will remember the early 90s when this machine hit arcades. The sound and look of this cabinet IMO is by far the GREATEST! SFII will ALWAYS be my "Boo" but I do believe MKII is the best looking arcade cab of ALL time!

I'm keeping this machine's internals stock. Stock A1up PCB, no PC as I usually do. I slapped on red vinyl tape along the front panel molding to simulate that "Fin" look Midway cabs had. I also added IL sticks, Sanwa 30 Buttons and USB speakers for more bass. As you guys remember, the OG MKII cab's sound was thunderous!

The "Cream" mod this cab has is the REAL Coin Door. The coin acceptor's microswitch is split with the stock start buttons. When You throw in a Quarter, the game starts. It would have been nice to have a credit button and not go directly into the game but this rom is set to freeplay.(I might attempt to go into the Midway options menu and turnoff freeplay to see if I can insert credits) Most of you would be happy with just a lit coin door but I felt this cab deserved that extra touch. The Coin door is from X-Arcades and cost around $100.

Wat's the final tally? Approx. $750. If you forego the X-Arcade coin door; $650.
