Building with Green Lumber | No Split Siding Installation

The time has finally come. I've finally finished off my equipment shed after months of harvesting my own trees and turning into usable lumber on my portable sawmill. Without having adequate time to fully air-dry my lumber, I ended up building this equipment shed entirely with green lumber. In doing that there were some things I had to do specifically to ensure that the wood did not split. As I mention in this video, green lumber will shrink when it dries and so using special techniques is required to keep the siding solid and preventing it from splitting. After trying and testing this method over man years I'm a firm believer that it's a good solution for those of you who build with green lumber like I do.
