Four or five years ago, a country was being seen as the fastest growing economic superpower in Asia. Big media houses and organizations were writing about a country that this country will come in the category of developed countries by 2041. The world had started acknowledging the dominance of this sector in the textile sector and 30% of the women of this country were actively contributing to improve the economic condition of the country. This Asian country was performing better than India in per capita income and different indexes just a few years ago. If a country achieves so much in just fifty years of becoming an independent and democratic country, then it is considered a great success of a country and its people. All the estimates and assessments being made about the future of this country were coming true at the right pace. But after just four or five years, what we are seeing and hearing from Bangladesh today tells a completely different story. Bangladesh is going through the worst phase of the century where no one can say anything with certainty about what will happen and how in this country.
