It's been roughly 20 years since we defeated the Ceph Invasion on New York City, however CELL ended up taken all the credit for the victory and locked us up for 20 years. Since then a lot of changed for the worst as they have complete influence and economic dominance over the world thanks to their access to Ceph technology in the ruins of New York City.

With only an handful of Resistance movement attempting to defy CELL, Psycho, one of the last surviving member of Raptor Squad, is leading a small strike team in an attempt to break Prophet out. With Prophet being the only one last standing with the Nanosuit, it's up to him in saving the world once again.
