Ashi Waza training - Ko Soto Gake, Okuri Ashi Barai, De Ashi Barai

Описание к видео Ashi Waza training - Ko Soto Gake, Okuri Ashi Barai, De Ashi Barai

During this session, our focus was on Ashi Waza techniques and improving the juniors' reactions. We began with a direct attack and progressed to developing secondary attacks based on the Uke's responses. Our specific Ashi Waza techniques of focus were Ko Soto Gake, Okuri Ashi Barai, and De Ashi Barai. Ko Soto Gake involves hooking your leg behind your opponent's leg and sweeping them off balance.

On the other hand, Okuri Ashi Barai uses both feet to slide and sweep the opponent's legs. De Ashi Barai involves cleaning the opponent's foot with your own foot. By practising these techniques and building reactions with the juniors, we aimed to enhance their overall Judo skills. Understanding how to respond to an opponent's movements can increase a Judoka's versatility and confidence in executing various techniques.

This training session proved to be a valuable opportunity for the juniors to refine their Ashi Waza skills and improve their reaction time. With these techniques in their arsenal, they can effectively apply them in future matches.
