Largest nurse union in UK launches a new round of strikes

Members of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) have launched a new round of strikes across the UK from April 30 and lasting until midnight on May 1. Nurses working in intensive care, emergency rooms and cancer wards joined colleagues in this strike, which also marks the first time for cancer nurses to join. During the strike, the national medical system will also face an "extremely low" number of staff, with few necessary nurses retained for life support services.
