Was Moissy Ford the most deadly river crossing of all time?

During the Gulf War of 1991 (Operation DESERT STORM) an Iraqi column of 1,000 vehicles retreating from Kuwait into Iraq was destroyed on a desert highway - becoming known as The Highway of Death.

However, this event has its origins in WW2 with the German withdrawal from the Falaise Pocket, when up to 17 Divisions attempted to flee the Allies encirclement. In this video I take you to the very locations where the massacre happened, as we visit Falaise, Moissy Ford and Mont-Ormel.
