Police in the Philippines have turned to puppets in a bid to warn school children about the dangers of drug use. Aimed at winning over hearts and minds before it is too late, the puppets include President Rodrigo Duterte himself and his police chief, Ronald Dela Rosa. During the show they tell the children not to take illegal drugs or face the deadly consequences.

The authorities insist it is the other side of the country's war on drugs and say it shows they don't just have one approach.
