Explore an underwater world, swim with friends, and find your flow in Endless Ocean Luminous
Welcome to the Veiled Sea, an unexplored region with discoveries that change with each dive.
The Endless Ocean™ Luminous game is all about exploring the ocean depths at your own pace. Do you want to go on a leisurely swim with marine life? Encounter and catalog over 500 species of creatures? Or perhaps search forgotten shipwrecks with your friends*? It’s up to you!
A relaxing dive
The Veiled Sea is a vast and mysterious place with a variety of biomes (including freshwater, saltwater, and frozen environments). You’ll find marine life of all sorts, including some that are presumed extinct or even mythical. Don’t be afraid to get close and snap an in-game photo—this game is a relaxing experience that emphasizes exploration.
Solo divers can explore the sea with no time limits in Solo Expeditions. There is also a single-player story mode where you try and help save the World Coral.
An underwater hangout with friends
If you’re more about exploring with others, you’ll be able to swim together in groups of up to 30 divers with a Nintendo Switch Online membership*. Divers can also tag their discoveries for others in the group to find. Will you swim as a group or split up to cover more ground**?
Customize your diver
As you continue to play either solo or with others, you’ll be able to unlock stickers for your gear, color options for your suit, and emotes to express yourself. Why simply wave hello when you can salute or perform a backflip instead?
Event dives
For some extra variety, you can also join in event dives—themed dives that occur periodically and offer opportunities to see uncommon sights and sea life.
