In the district of Targovishte, northeast Bulgaria, the 5 meter high Boaza waterfall is hidden in the Dervenga Gorge. He belongs to one of the many hidden waterfalls in Bulgaria but is easy accessible. The name Boaza is immediately clear when you know that Boaza refers to the word "gorge".

At a height of 5 meters, the water comes from a water cave and falls like a wide fan into a side arm of the Vrana river.

The waterfall is located 9 km southwest of the provincial town of Targovishte.
Leave Targovishte towards Omurtag. After 5 to 6 km you pass the exit of the Byala Kon complex. From this exit it is 1.9 km to the exit leading to the waterfall. The exit is on your right, just before a left turn.
Follow the dirt road and after 500 meters you will arrive at the foot of the waterfall where there is space to park the car.
