Educational trip on 12-04-2024 to Halasi, Devahalli and Kittur.

All the students and staff of Sri Sathya Sai Nityaniketanam Gurukulam, Belagavi, had an incredible academic trip during the AY 2023-24. Here's a snapshot of our amazing journey:

1. Ramtirth - We visited the breathtaking Ramalingeswar temple situated atop a hill, with a serene water pond and stunning views of sunrise and sunset.

2. Halasi - 2nd capital of Kadamba dynasty, We explored a truly unique temple featuring two sanctums facing each other within the same temple. Here, we encountered the powerful deities Boo Varah and Narasimha Swami. Nearby, we also discovered many other captivating temples.

3. Devahalli - We marveled at the ancient Shiva temple in Devahalli.

4. Degaon - Our eyes were treated to a magnificent architectural temple of god Kamalnarayan, adorned with captivating Bhagavatam stories on its outer walls, showcasing its rich history.

5. Machi - We found ourselves surrounded by the beauty of nature in the tranquil forest setting of Machi.

6. Kittur - Our visit to Kittur was enriched with the history of the heroic resistance against the British led by Kittur dynasty queen Chenamma and Sangoli Rayanna. We explored the museum, fort, and Suryadev temple, soaking in the essence of this remarkable place.
