We have been to the Big Island twice. On our second visit, Waipio Valley was closed for individual visits; in Plololu Valley, access to "Magic Forest" (dunes) was denied, and visiting anything across the Valley looked discouraged (no bench there anymore). Well, nothing gets better everywhere. Soon, they will want you to stop at viewpoints and mostly sit in Kona all-inclusive.
