This car uses a chassis, which is pretty much identical with the WLtoys 12428 Rock climber. WLtoys replacement parts are compatible. But if you have a very close look, you can see, that the parts don’t come out of the same mould. The 2.4GHz remote is also not compatible.

In this video: How to widen the track of this buggy in order to make it more stable around fast corners and to solve the clearance issue between the steering linkage and the tire. 3D printed, 1.5mm thicker 12m hexagon adapters are used.

The adapters were designed in the free (for hobby users) 3D CAD Autodesk Fusion 360.

We will replace the ESC, the receiver and the steering servo! The car will handle much better after this upgrade, because the steering is not as sharp anymore and there is no dead zone around the center position anymore.
The ESC is replaced with a Tamiya TBLE-02S ESC from a NEO Fighter Buggy, which was upgraded to a brushless system. This ESC can also be used for censored brushless motors.
