Replacement of Porsche 911 door stay and installation of reinforcement plates for damaged door sheetmetal. Easy DIY you can do in an afternoon.

Additional Notes:
1. This applies for all 911s up to 1989.
2. The same door stay works on the left or right side.
3. Some loud hammering so headphone users beware.
4. If you add reinforcement plates, measure the outer plate cutout height so it clears the door stay pin mounting tabs before installing. If necessary it would be good to add clearance with a Dremel or grinder beforehand. Skip to 23:32 for details.
