Ajax’s youth academy is world famous. The goal of Ajax is to form talented young players into top football players. Only the very best will reach the top after a difficult and often long road.

Johan Cruijff, Marco van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Kluivert and today's Frenkie de Jong, Sergino Dest, Donny van de Beek & Matthijs de Ligt are but a few of the international stars that have successfully completed the training at the youth academy.

On September 11th, 2020, the CIES released their annual rankings of the clubs having trained the most players active in 31 top divisions of UEFA (member associations). The Ajax Youth Academy came in 2nd place with 77 players footballers trained!
