Cauvery Water Row: CWRC Directs Karnataka to Release 3,000 Cusecs Of Water To TN

As the dispute over the Cauvery water between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka rages on, the latter on Tuesday (September 26) faced another setback from the Cauvery Water Regulatory Committee (CWRC). Karnataka was recommended by the CWMC to release 3000 cusecs water on a daily basis to Tamil Nadu until October 15. The decision was taken at a meeting in New Delhi after Karnataka and Tamil Nadu submitted their arguments before the committee.
