The issue of assisted death - remains hugely controversial. Today, in the UK - is the last day, in a case where a terminally ill man is challenging the ban that exists in this country. Meanwhile in Canada, there's a very public debate about whether the law - which allows assisted suicide for those with terminal illness - should be extended, to those with mental illness. It comes, after the high profile case of Adam Maier-Clayton - who took his own life, in April. He had a mental condition, which caused his body to feel severe physical pain - and had been fighting for the right to die in Canada. The BBC has been to meet Adam's family - here's his story.
