In this video we are venturing into the Rocky Mountain National Park backcountry to find and catch some Greenback cutthroat trout.

This was an incredible day of exploring and fly fishing and showcases how being in shape to hit farther away lakes via trail running or hiking quickly opens up one's fishing options and enables finding lakes with less pressured and more abundant trout.

I did not know how the fishing would be at this lake but sometimes it just takes pointing to a promising blue spot on a map and making an adventure out of finding out and exploring.
