In the premiere episode of the geek travelogue Been There, Shot That, we venture to Whiting, Salix and Hornick, IA to recreate scenes and shots from Stephen King's Children of the Corn (1984) and to watch a screening of the film in the town square of Whiting -- right next to the iconic yellow flagpole from some of the film's most pivotal moments. Director Fritz Kiersch returns to the area for the first time since 1983 to introduce the film and answer fan questions. We also revisit the iconic Children of the Corn house -- home to Sarah and Job -- and find it undergoing a major restoration! And what became of the diner?
