The Kraken series from NZXT have been long loved and adored within the community for their performance and customisation options. Following on from the previous video which showcased the new ELITE, I'm stoked to say that the new, more entry-level focussed Kraken brings excellent performance with solid looks and customisation options too.

When compared to the ELITE, the Kraken offers a smaller LCD screen for people who want to simply display their system data from NZXT CAM or showcase still images, without breaking the bank on the premium. That's not to say sacrifices have been made inside, they haven't! There's a 7th gen Asetek pump along with those F Series Fans which move air effectively. Installation was simple, minimal cables and the software within CAM immediately recognised everything.

This build came together really nicely, the performance is exactly as I'd expect from a H5 Flow. Speaking of H5 Flow, how great is the new RGB variant? I'm loving the new design of the fans... A perfect example of how unrestricted airflow and affordable hardware with the RTX 4070 can make a stylised PC with great performance for a modest cost.

NZXT have been making some bold moves over the last year. I'm genuinely thankful that the Kraken series haven't taken a huge change in design, instead they've taken a proven design and optimised it to make it better. That is something which I can truly support! Kudos! Also the brand new SKU for the H5 Flow RGB promises to quench the thirst for those eager to explore RGB options with an excellent airflow chassis!
