On April 8th, 1968, British pop star, Petula Clark debuted her first American television performance on NBC. Filmed in front of a studio audience in Los Angeles, she performed other musical numbers on location. One such location was the RMS QUEEN MARY, which had recently arrived in Long Beach, California on her LAST GREAT CRUISE to become a hotel/museum. Miss Clark performs her song, "Live For Life" while taking a solo tour through the decks and interiors of the ship, though dark and silent because of being on emergency generators and rigged-shoreside power. This video is a 1080p re-rendering of her original broadcast taken from the DVD, which is available.
