With the wealth of imagery and remote sensing data that is accessible, challenges are faced in how to bring it and all the other spatial data together, accurately extract the required information and make the results accessible to users, who expect more than a static PDF or webmap. ArcGIS provides a comprehensive platform for managing, processing, analyzing and visualizing all forms of remote sensing data. The source can range from collections of orthophotos to imagery direct from a wide range of satellite, airborne or drone sensors, to terrain models, categorical data or multi-dimensional datasets. This presentation will provide an overview of the many imagery capabilities in both desktop and web applications, and how they can be applied to Conservation GIS workflows. The presentation will then shift focus to various aspects of how make your imagery and derived products accessible to a broad range of users in the form of engaging web applications that enable users to review and interact with the source image data as well as derived findings.
