10 Signs of ENMESHMENT & 3 Steps to BREAK FREE
Today I'm talking about 10 signs of enmeshment - theres a difference between being close with your family and being enmeshed with your family. Having a healthy close family relationship means that everyone respects the individuality of each other there are healthy relationship dynamics. Whereas in an enmeshed relationship which can be disguised as being close -there is no respect for individuality, the enmeshment creates family dynamics where there's control, guilt and shame and individulas are or can be punished for their authenticity or their individuality. So that being said if we don't understadn what it looks like we run the risk of recreating it also if we don't understand enmeshment we can be attracted to people that tend to get enmeshed in toxic relationshps because it's familiar.
