Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 16 (The Defect Ascension 1 Run 4)

The defect is going to be my bane..

Man I feel like every time we get this deck going it feels SO GOOD until one fight and then it all comes crashing down.. I know I didn't play perfectly but cmon! We had a sick little power deck with insane relics that truly made it special, and cards like an upgraded Creative AI to give us random powers (hoping for Echo Forms and Buffers honestly), Turbo to make up for a lack of energy rune, an upgraded copy of Genetic Algorithm which we got to duplicate later in the run, cards like upgraded Turbo for energy on demand and TWO upgraded Reinforced Body cards that shored up plenty of block for us, all basically stabilizing us until we could kill a creature or boss with a big hit from an upgraded Sunder.. the cards sound fine but truly this deck was made by the relics. We had Ice Cream, Mummified Hand, and Runic Pyramid all allowing me to retain excess energy, retain my hand and whenever we played power cards reduce a random card in our hand to ZERO.. all along with relics like Eternal Feather, Blood Vial, Meal Ticket to heal whenever we hit shops instead of campfires.. But it just wasn't enough man..
