Due to Pune Grand Tour, an international cycling event, roads in Shivajinagar and Deccan will be closed for vehicles on Monday, 19th January from 9 am to 6 pm. This will lead to traffic disruptions in nearby areas also affecting almost half of Pune city.

Areas in following PMC wards will be affected:

Shivajinagar-Ghole Road
Vishrambaugwada Kasba
Dhole Patil Road
Bhavani Peth
Aundh-Baner
Kothrud-Bavdhan
Sinhgad Road
Warje Karvenagar

The administration has closed schools, colleges in these areas and appealed people to walk and use Pune Metro services for travelling in these areas.
